When Dave Kelly and Madhouse Records released the Showtime Riddim in 1998, dancehall entered a new era. With its hard-hitting drums, infectious groove and unforgettable bassline, Showtime became one of the defining riddims of the late 1990s and remains a favourite in dancehalls today.
