The Gargamel himself, Buju Banton, has officially announced his brandânew album Too Too Bad, landing July 17 â and the energy already loud. The legend took to IG declaring it a âReal Dancehall Ting đŻđâ, signalling a fullâforce return to the hardcore dancehall vibration fans been waiting for.
This new title flips back to his iconic Too Bad era â the 2006 project that reâignited Bujuâs dancehall dominance with tracks like Driver A, Try Offa Yuh, Waistline, and âTil It Bend. If Too Too Bad follows that lineage, expect Buju in pure warrior mode: sharp, gritty, physical dancehall â the style that made him one of the defining voices of the 90s.
The first single, âButterfliesâ, dropped in April â produced by Supa Dups for Black Chiney Music, riding a fresh take on the classic Real Rock riddim. A clean warmâup for whatâs coming.
Bujuâs catalogue speaks for itself: â 12 albums in the Billboard Reggae Top 10 â Multiple entries on the Billboard 200 â A GRAMMY win for Before The Dawn â And the timeless âTil Shiloh, certified Gold and still charting decades later

The album arrives right in the middle of Bujuâs Roots & Rhymes Summer Tour with Stephen Marley â running June 17 to July 25 across North America, with special guest appearances from Gramps Morgan.
SVE Music salutes one of the greats as he steps forward with another chapter for the culture. Dancehall season activated.
